Since the "ceramic age" of serrated lock washers, or fiber, cutting and grinding discs, the performance requirements for hand-held electrical devices (e.g. angle grinders, etc.) have increased enormously. In the long run, most devices can no longer withstand this additional load of friction and contact pressure. Grinders overheat in a very short time, switch off automatically or armatures and field packs burn out without further ado. Eisenblätter has taken on this challenge by further developing its ceramic flap discs and further developing its speed-controlled angle grinder under the brand name VARILEX®. The new VARILEX® 1802 HT (High Torque) model now meets all the performance requirements for state-of-the-art ceramic grinding wheels of all kinds.
